THE MOTHER ROSARIO BULLETIN 3

On this third issue of the Bulletin we wish to focus on the testimonies we received about the life of Mother Rosario, OP Several salient points regarding her observance of the vow of poverty have been missed in the previous issue.

How did Mother Rosario live her vow of poverty as a religious and later as a Superior General of the Congregation the position which she held from 1953 to 1957?

It had been an accepted truth that her life was a series of paradox. A woman with a silver spoon in her mouth, she gave up her riches so the congregation may live. A woman of beauty she left behind all earthly happiness and opportunities in exchange for a life of obscurity, simplicity and poverty in the convent.

Mother Rosario put into action what the rich young man who was looking for perfection failed to do. “Christ said, Go, sell what you have, give to the poor and come follow me”. Mother Rosario followed Jesus in perfect obedience and joyful surrender of earthly riches.
You will also find in this issue testimonies sent by those who have been touched by Mother Rosario.

The MRAC welcomes testimonies and petitions to make known the life and virtues of Mother Rosario. Please write us.

TESTIMONIES:

1. Virginia B. de la Cruz – 73 years old
Bugasong, Antique

Indi ako makatulog kon indi ako maka rosario. SALAMAT KAY MADRE SAYONG.

2. Sr. Francis Cardora, OP
Dominican Sister Of Molo
